CarePoint Health offers information sessions in a group setting covering various topics related to chronic disease prevention and general well-being. Our Health Educator is trained to deliver these specialized sessions in collaboration with other registered professionals. Please see our calendar for upcoming sessions and click here to register. 

Current sessions being offered virtually:

  • Sleep Health covering sleep hygiene, disorders and tips to maintain quality sleep.
  • Healthy Aging covering nutrition, staying active and disease prevention (geared towards older adults).
  • Advanced Care Planning covering the basics of advanced care planning, what to consider and, how to choose a substitute decision maker.
  • Let’s Talk Diabetes covering how to manage diabetes with diet and exercise, and to prevent related complications. Led by a Certified Diabetes Educator.
  • Basics of Breastfeedingnew information session led by a Registered Nurse! This virtual session is great for new or expecting parents. It covers the benefits of breastfeeding, what to expect and, when and where to go for help. Open to families.

Sessions are an hour long, held virtually, and offered over multiple dates. Open to adults 18+, FREE and no referral or diagnosis required. Please see our calendar for upcoming sessions and click here to register.
